On the 24th of May 2019 we received the shocking news of the passing of AnnMarie Laurie, the sister of Anthony Dolland the founder of the Joan Lewis Foundation. Ms Laurie was a devoted missionary, travelling the world with Logos Hope. In tribute of her work as a missionary and her commitment to personal development the “AnnMArie Laurie Personal Development” library was established in honour and recognition of this wonderful life.

The team at Operation Mobilization, the organization responsible for the Logos Hope indicated their willingness to support the creation of the library. In January 2020, they made good on their pledge and donated several boxes of books on various topics and titles. This was well received as it assisted in giving the library the launch it needed.

In March of 2020 Trinidad and Tobago was spiraled into a daunting experience as we took note of the worldwide pandemic and made life changing adjustments to fight the spread of the Corona virus. As such we had to make needful changes to remain relevant and effective in this time. On May 30th 2020 a virtual launch of the AnnMarie Personal Development library was hosted on social media to give access to persons seeking ways to engage themselves during these times.

We do look forward to serving in this regard as it is without question the indelible contribution to self development that reading contributes to.
